Jitendra Tyagi surrenders to Court for allegedly making offensive statements against Muslims
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Former Shia Central Board chief Jitendra Tyagi (formerly known as Waseem Rizvi) surrendered in Court after making an alleged offensive statement against Muslims during the Dharma Sansad held in Haridwar from 17th to 19th December 2021. The Police arrested him and took him to jail. A case was registered against him on this issue. The Court then granted him interim bail for 3 months and at the end of this term, Tyagi surrendered. When surrendering, Jitendra Tyagi was accompanied by Shri Mahant Ravindrapuri, President of the Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, along with several saints of the Sri Niranjani Akhara Parishad.

I am left alone in the battle for Sanatan Dharma ! – Jitendra Tyagi
Jitendra Tyagi said that – ‘Ever since I accepted Sanatan Dharma, many people have started to target me. I have been left alone in this struggle. But I have no regrets; because I have accepted Sanatan Dharma after much thought. Some people of Jwalapur have planned to kill me in Roshanabad Jail, but thanks to the vigilance of the prison authorities they were unsuccessful in their plans.
What did Tyagi get by accepting Hindu Dharma ? – Shrimant Ravindrapuri’s regret
Shri Mahant Ravindrapuri said that – ‘Jitendra Tyagi going to jail is troubling the saints. What did Tyagi get after accepting Hindu Dharma ? All the Saints should have supported Tyagi, but most of them did not. Some Saints have left him to his fate.
