New Delhi – According to the report of the National Crime Record Bureau, Delhi the capital is the city most unsafe for women. It was reported that every day two minor girls were raped in the city and many of the accused have not been arrested yet.

1. The records of the NCRB 13,892 crimes against women were reported in Delhi in 2021. This number is 40% more than that of 2020. In the year 2020, there were 9,782 cases reported.

2. According to this record among the 19 major towns 32.20% more crimes against women were reported from Delhi alone.

3. In 2021, Delhi reported 3,948 kidnappings of women, 4,674 cases of domestic violence, and 833 girls raped in the city.

4. Mumbai is ranked second to Delhi in this matter, with 5,543 cases of crimes against women reported.

5. Bengaluru is in third place. Here 3,127 cases were reported. Among the 19 major cities in crimes against women the percentages in Mumbai and Bengaluru are 12.76% and 7.2% respectively.
