Two Al-Qaeda Terrorists arrested in Assam
Guwahati (Assam) – Two more terrorists were recently arrested in Barpeta District. Amitava Sinha, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Barpeta district told that these two terrorists have a link with Al-Qaeda. They are related to the illegally constructed Madarasa in Assam. The terrorists have been identified as Akbar Ali and Abdul Kalam Azad according to the Police.

Three terrorists were arrested in ten days !
Assam Police arrested 6 people in the last 10 days in connection with terrorist organisations. Earlier four terrorists were arrested from Barpeta. 2 days ago, Assam Police arrested a Maulvi of Madras named Hafizur Rehman Mufti in Goalpara. A few days ago, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma appealed to the public to inform the Police if an unknown imam comes to the village.
