Khalistanis planned to hoist Khalistan’s flag on the Attari border
India’s flag is the tallest at Attari. Looking at the increasing danger from Khalistanis, the Indian Government should take stringent action against the people and organisations concerned.
Amritsar (Punjab) – Khalistani terrorist organisation ‘Sikhs for Justice’ planned to hoist Khalistan’s flag at Attari on India-Pakistan border, where the Indian flag has been hoisted 360 ft high.
A video that went viral on social media has a burkha-clad woman declaring, “The ‘killer’ Tricolour cannot be allowed to fly on the sacred land of Gurus. Attari Amritsar is the land of Gurus, but the killer Tricolour of India keeps flying there. This is the 75th year of Indian occupation on the Sikh land. It is our aim that the Tricolour at Attari gets taken down and the Khalistan flag flies here. It is the time for decisions. We Kashmiri Mujahideen are there at every step with our Sikh brothers and sisters in their fight for Khalistan, Allah Hu Akbar”.

The short video also shows the footage of a yellow flag being hoisted at the Red Fort during the 26th January 2021 violence. There is also a clip where the Tricolour is being shot with bullets.
Investigation is going on about the video, trying to identify the woman in the video.
Chief of ‘Sikhs for Justice’, Gurpat Singh Pannu had made an announcement of plebiscite earlier. Therefore, the ‘Ghar ghar Khalistan’ campaign was to begin between 15th August and 26th January. A video in this regard has also been posted in which a call is given to burn the Tricolour. This organisation had announced earlier giving nearly Rs 1 crore to the one who would hoist Khalistani flag at prominent places in India.
Hoist ‘Nishan Sahib’ and not the National Flag on 15th August : Simranjit Singh Mann of Akali Dal
Sangrur (Punjab) – Simranjit Singh Mann, MP and President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), gave a call to hoist ‘Nishan Sahib’ instead of the National Flag on the Independence Day. He criticised the Centre’s campaign ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. Addressing soldiers as ‘Enemy’, he said, that Khalistani terrorist Bhindranwale attained martyrdom while fighting the ‘Enemy army’. Sikhs are a separate and different community. Leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal, however, said that the Indian Flag belonged to all and the people of Punjab were proud of it. Before this, a Khalsa organisation had announced to hoist ‘Nishan Saihib’ while opposing the campaign of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. (It is not sufficient to protest against such a statement that glorifies Khalistan, Shiromani Akali Dal should throw out Simranjit Singh Mann from the party. – Editor)
