Former CM Yediyurappa flags off ‘Veer Savarkar Rath Yatra’ in Mysore !
Spread of patriotism of Veer Savarkar through the ‘Rath Yatra’ !
Bengaluru – The BJP leader and former CM Yediyurappa has started the ‘Veer Savarkar Rath Yatra’ from the Anjaneya temple at the Mysore palace in Mysore. “Through Veer Savarkar Rath Yatra, we want to create awareness among people about Veer Savarkar, his ideology, his sacrifices for the country and principles. It is to awaken patriotic feelings among people,” Yediyurappa said. This ‘Yatra’ will be proceeding to the districts of Mysore, Mandya and Chamrajnagar by 30th August.

Yediyurappa further said, “It is wrong to claim that Veer Savarkar was not a patriot. “The person who does not have an idea of religion, nation, is making such statements. The statement made by the opposition party leader Siddaramaiah is not befitting to the position he holds. If he continues to speak like this, people will teach him a lesson. We will be peacefully creating awareness about the patriotism of Veer Savarkar among the public.
