Jihadi terrorist attack at Hyatt Hotel in Mogadishu, Somalia; 8 killed, 9 injured
Mogadishu (Somalia) – Al-Shabaab, a jihadi terrorist organisation linked to Al-Qaeda, entered the Hyatt Hotel in Mogadishu and launched an attack like the 26/11 attack on Mumbai. 8 people were killed and more than 9 people were injured in this attack. Reportedly, these terrorists have taken many hostages in the hotel. The terrorists are hiding in the hotel and had an encounter with the security forces. It is also being reported that the terrorists carried out a big bomb blast before entering the hotel. Security forces have cordoned off the entire area. There have been several attacks in Somalia in the past, in which hundreds of people have been killed.

Terrorist organisation Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the attack. The main objective of this organisation is to overthrow the Government established in Somalia in 2017. Al-Shabaab was founded in 2006. This organisation adheres to the Wahabi Islam of Saudi Arabia.
