Kanpur (UP) – It came to light that the National Flag was dishonoured during a procession on the eve of Muharram. The National Flag was defaced with Islamic symbols like mosque, moon and stars, and the shape of the flag was also changed. A video of this procession posted by a journalist of News Nation has gone viral on social media. The incident is now being opposed.

Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists met the Kanpur Police Commissioner and filed a complaint. The Commissioner registered a case and assured to investigate.
