Zakir and Shafiq arrested in connection with Pravin Nettaru’s murder case
Investigations are on to probe their connection with Popular Front of India !
Bengaluru – On the 26th of July 2022, Zakir and Shafiq were arrested in connection with the murder case of Pravin Nettaru, the district secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha for South Kannada in Karnataka. Investigations are being conducted to probe their connection with a jihadi terrorist organisation called ‘Popular Front of India (PFI)’. The Police suspect involvement of PFI and its political wing Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) in Pravin’s murder case.

Let NIA conduct investigations ! – demands Shobha Karandalje
Shobha Karandalje, the Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, has written to the Central Home Minister Amit Shah demanding handing over investigations of this murder case to the national investigating agency.
Organisations inciting ‘hijab’ row involved in this murder ! – Home Minister Jnanendra
On the other hand, Karnataka’s Home Minister Araga Jnanedra has accused that the organisations involved in inciting ‘hijab’ row were connected to the murder case. He said further that the murder has taken place near the border of Kerala and Karnataka; therefore, the killers must have fled to Kerala after committing murder. They will soon be nabbed.
The central Minister and a BJP leader from Karnataka Pralhad Joshi expressed doubt about PFI and SDPI’s involvement in the murder.
