Sanatan Sanstha’s Guru Purnima celebrated with spiritual emotion at 153 places in the country

Mumbai (13th July) – The Guru extricates the disciples and devotees gently from the ocean of illusion (worldly attachments), instructs and gets the necessary spiritual practice performed from them, and in difficult times, showers love and support without any expectation and frees them. Guru Purnima is the day to express gratitude to such a revered Guru ! Sanatan Sanstha celebrated Guru Purnima at 153 places in the country in an environment replete with gratitude, Chaitanya (Divine consciousness) and bhav (Spiritual emotion). The celebrations began with Shri Vyaspuja and worship of a picture of Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj (Sanatan’s source of Inspiration).

Speakers expressed the need to have a society that abides by Dharma and for the establishment of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ based on Dharma. A special attraction was the Self-defence demonstration. Texts were exhibited on Dharma, Spirituality, Spiritual practice, Balsanskar, Achardharma, Ayurveda, First-aid, Hindu Rashtra, etc.; banners on the Nation and Dharma were exhibited too.

Online Guru Purnima celebrations in 9 languages

Guru Purnima was celebrated Online in 9 languages – Marathi, Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Bengali and Odia, through which devotees anywhere could experience joy from the celebrations.

On this Holy day, Sanatan’s seekers received a priceless gift. On the instructions of Saptarshi, Sachchidananda Parabrahman gave darshan to the seekers in the form of Shri Datta Guru during a function at Sanatan’s Ramnathi Ashram (Goa). The Holy feet of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale were washed and worshipped in the form of Shri Datta Guru. His spiritual Successors – Shrisatshakti (Mrs) Binda Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs) Anjali Gadgil performed His Padyapuja. The seekers saw this Holy celebration through live stream.
When He came to the puja altar, Shrisatshakti and Shrichitshakti offered gandha, kumkum and akshata on His feet in the form of Shri Datta Guru. The Saptarshi had earlier said that He is the form of Sachchidananda Parabrahman, so He should be addressed as Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale. His Successors offered flowers to Him while reciting ‘Om Aim Kleem Shreem Shreem Shreem Sachchidananda Parabrahmane Namaha’ 108 times. All seekers who had joined on the live stream recited this too and offered their obeisance to Shri Gurudev. After Aukshan with dhoop & deep, He was offered Naivedya. Then, His Arati was done while reciting mantras from the Samaveda. Seekers expressed deep gratitude for being able to store the priceless moments of Shri Guru’s Padyapuja in their minds.

Individual spiritual experiences of seekers published here are according to the Principle – ‘Where there is bhav (Spiritual emotion), there is God’. It is not that every individual will have similar experiences.
