New Delhi – 84-year-old Dewan Ali Musa Nizami has informed that the number of Hindu visitors to the famous Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi has dropped by more than 60% over the past year.

Diwan Nizami said that the hatred between the two religions has increased due to which the number of Hindu visitors has reduced. “Earlier Hindus used to swarm the Dargah from 2 p.m. till 11 p.m. and hold Bhandara and provide food and distribute money. Now the situation has changed, it is being propagated among the Hindus that there is a grave here. You don’t get anything by praying here, instead go to a temple. Hindus are good. But the result of what is being propagated is creating hatred between the two”, he added.
When asked about the Nupur Sharma controversy and beheading of Kanhaiya Lal, he said things like these keep happening. Some people always make the people of both religions fight. However, the Dargah always preaches peace.
The headquarters of Tablighi Jamaat is located near the Dargah. When asked about Tablighi Jamaat becoming infamous during the Covid-19 times, Diwan Nizami said that this issue is also the reason for a reduction in the number of Hindu visitors to the Dargah.

Hindus have now become aware and realised the true nature of religious fanatics. Hence, they have reduced visiting Ajmer Dargah and now Nizamuddin Dargah. Later, this will completely stop. |
