Bomb threat to blow up Pune railway station

Pune (Maharashtra) – In the morning of 29th June, the Pune Police control room received a phone call threatening to blow up the Pune railway station. Therefore, security measures were tightened by deploying the Railway Security Force (RPF), dog squad, bomb squad, and extra Police force. However, it is suspected that this could be a hoax. (An individual who commits such mischief will never do it again only if he or she is taken into custody and severely punished – Editor)

In May also, the Pune railway station was threatened with a bomb. The accused had also requested money. Immediately, the Pune Police began an investigation. Two persons were arrested in connection with the case. In the end, it was revealed that the phone call had been a hoax. Therefore, it is also speculated that this call may also be a hoax.
