Oman’s Grand Mufti behind outrage from Islamic countries to India
New Delhi – In response to the Nupur Sharma case, Islamic countries have launched a campaign to boycott Indian products. Oman’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Bin Hamad Al-Khalili (79), is behind this outrage against India. Through a tweet, he started a campaign against the BJP. Khalili is a supporter of Pakistan. He has been accorded the highest civilian award named ‘Nishan-e-Pakistan’ by Pakistan. He also congratulated the Taliban for their victory in Afghanistan. He also called on his Government to ban alcohol in Oman.

In the Nupur Sharma case, Khalili said Islamic countries should voice their opposition to this issue. It was only after his appeal that there was outrage from Islamic countries toward India, and the BJP suspended Nupur Sharma for 6 years.
Editorial viewpoints
Islamic countries listen to their high order religious leaders and act accordingly. While Indian Hindu leaders, imprison Hindu saints and Shankaracharya on the basis of false accusations by listening to atheists, progressives, communists, anti-Hindu media, etc. |
