The importance of the Mission of Shrimannarayan Incarnate Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale
Shri Vishnu’s Yogamaya (Yoga is ‘union’ and Maya is the Great Illusion that the material world only is real; this means Vishnu & His Divine Illusion) is also called Harimaya (Hari is Shri Vishnu & His Divine Illusion). Shri Vishnu’s Maya casts such a spell that His devotee forgets the true form of Shri Vishnu.
The relationship between seekers and Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale is that of the Guru and Disciples. All seekers are blissful in this relationship, but we never realised that the Guru who we worship is actually Shri Vishnu’s Incarnate in Kaliyug (Era of Strife). Is this not Shri Vishnu’s Maya ? Now we seekers know that our Guru is Shri Vishnu Himself ! This too is Shri Vishnu’s Maya. Here, let us understand this Divine play of Shri Vishnu. |
1. Importance of God’s Divine play
God incarnates on earth to establish Dharma (Righteousness). To explain this in simple words, God incarnates to protect His devotees and punish the unrighteous. This is the primary mission of an Incarnation. There is another important aspect of the Divine play, which is to show the devotees the path of liberation from the endless cycles of birth and death. It is because of the Incarnations, that their Divine plays takes place on earth. It is from these Divine plays that the eternal Texts such as Ramayan, Mahabharat and Shrimadbhagawadgeeta have been written. The most important aspect about these Divine plays is that humans can free themselves quickly from the cycles of birth and death – by remembering, singing and hearing about the Divine play of Incarnations. This is the importance of the Incarnation’s Divine play.
2. There is Bliss in human life because of these Incarnations
Humans were bestowed with an aim and a source of Anand (Bliss) because of numerous Incarnations such as Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Nrusimha, Vaman, Parashuram, Shriram, Shrikrushna, Mohini, Srinivas (Tirupati Balaji), Veda Vyas and many more. Humans would not have found Anand if there had been no Incarnations of God. Today, we remember the towns Shriram and Shrikrushna visited. When we go to Mathura we remember Shrikrushna, and Ayodhya reminds us of Shriram. Not only this, our friends, relatives and ancestors are named after these Incarnations.
3. These Divine plays are an integral part of our lives
The rivers, mountains, seas, lakes, villages, trees and stones are awakened because of the Incarnation’s Divine play. On the one side, mothers narrate stories from the Ramayan and Mahabharat to their children, and on the other, scholars learn Political science from them. The two words – ‘Shrikrushnaniti’ and ‘Ramrajya’ – have come into being through the Divine Plays of these Incarnations. Festivals such as Shrikrushna Janmashtami, Shriramanavami, Deepavali, Vijayadashami and many others are celebrated to commemorate the Divine Plays of these Incarnations.
4. Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale is Shri Vishnu’s Kaliyuga Incarnation
Sage Kakabhushundi said to Garuda (Shri Vishnu’s vehicle) that God is ‘Natavarnagar’. Natavarnagar is one who plays numerous roles in a drama. The audience is impressed with his performance, but he is not affected by it. He acts in the play and moves on, not concerned if anyone has seen his performance or not. However, people compare themselves with the character in the play, talk about him and get involved with an merge with him.
Paratpar Guru (Dr) Jayant Balaji Athavale is the Name of the Incarnation in the current Divine Play. Sanatan’s seekers are witness to this Incarnation’s Divine Play. Shri Vishnu Himself has Incarnated as Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale for the benefit of Sanatan’s seekers. And so, Paratpar Guru(Dr) Athavale too is a ‘Natavarnagar’.
5. It will take some time for us to understand that the personage we met, spoke with and performed satseva with was Shri Vishnu from Vaikuntha
In future, all seekers and society will talk about this Incarnation of Shri Vishnu – Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale. They will say they knew Him; they will speak of His mission and their memories of their interactions with Him. However, it will take some time for us to realise that the personage we met, spoke with, with whom we ate, performed satseva and travelled with is actually Shri Vishnu who has come to earth from Vaikuntha. One thing is certain – God’s Divine play is a path towards Mukti (Liberation).
