Yogi Adityanath further said “Ever since the BJP Government came to power in Uttar Pradesh there have been no incidents of namaz being offered on the roads. Another noteworthy point is that there have not been any incidents during the Ram Navami festival either. Earlier in areas like Muzzafarpur, Meerut, Muradabad, etc, there would be regular riots. Those places would have to be kept under lockdown for several months. But since 2017 there has not been a single incident of rioting in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Our BJP Government has also shut down many illegal slaughterhouses. Goushalas have been built to keep the cows healthy and safe. Loudspeakers have also been removed from religious sites. Our Government has also rebuilt more than 700 religious sites to date.”
