Successful trial of the improved version the Brahmos missile
New Delhi – A successful trial of the modernised Brahmos missile was carried out in the Bay of Bengal. The range of this missile has been increased to 450 km. India’s Sukhoi fighter plane can correctly find a target from 1,500 km in the sky. Now because of this missile, the plane will be able to fire at targets 2,000 km away.
The Extended Range version of Brahmos air launched missile was successfully fired from a Su-30 MkI aircraft today.

The Brahmos missile will help to accurately hit important enemy targets like bunkers storing nuclear weapons, intelligence control centres, and aircraft carriers in warlike situations. The range of the Brahmos missile will be increased to 800 km. The Brahmos missile has been installed in important parts of Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh, bordering China.
