Kolkata (Bengal) – BJP Yuva Morcha Vice-President Arjun Chowrasiya was found hanging ahead of Amit Shah’s 2 days visit to Bengal. Chowrasiya was supposed to welcome Home Minister Amit Shah in Kolkata and was supposed to lead his Mandal members in a bike rally.

BJP has blamed the ruling TMC party for Chowrasiya`s death. TMC MP Santanu Sen has denied the allegations and has said that “the Police should be allowed to investigate the issue. The allegations against us are baseless”. After receiving the information of the BJP activist`s death, Home Minister Amit Shah’s welcome ceremony has been canceled. Amit Shah is going to meet Arjun’s family.

Editorial Viewpoints

  • This is not the first time that a BJP activist is found dead in mysterious circumstances. Not only this but there have been deadly attacks on BJP activists earlier. Hindus expect BJP should take stringent steps to end this.
  • In the Trinamool Congress-ruled State, law and order seem to be out of control. Taking this into cognizance, there seems to be no option but to implement President’s Rule in Bengal.
