1. Jagatguru Paramahans Acharya said about the incident that he had gone there to see the buried Shivalinga. At 5.30 p.m. when he was about to enter the Taj Mahal with his disciples, the security officials of the Central Industrial Security Force stopped him and objected to his saffron robes and Brahmadanda. His tickets were checked. His disciples tried to take photos of the security officials, but their mobile phones were taken away and photos were deleted.
2. Paramahans Acharya’s disciple said that nobody had stopped them from carrying the Brahmadanda at Mathura, Ayodhya, and Kashi even though mobile phones are prohibited at those places. Brahmadanda is made of wood and not iron. Prohibition on entry due to saffron robes is quite alarming. (Is it India or Pakistan to prohibit someone just because of wearing saffron colour ? – Editor)
3. The Superintendent of the Archaeology Department said that Jagadguru Paramahans Acharya was carrying an iron bar and that was not allowed inside. The security staff told him to leave the iron bar outside, but it was not agreed upon.
