Legal notice issued to submit ownership documents of illegal Mazar at Agra Cantonment Railway station

Mazar will be removed if no documents are presented

Agra (UP) – The Administration has sent a notice to Baba Bhure Shah Mazar at Agra Cantonment Railway Station to submit documents regarding its ownership. It has been asked to submit these documents by 13th May.

Whether to take action against illegal construction will be decided later. Notice has been sent to Sajjada Nashim who is currently looking after the Mazar management. (The shrine has been there for many years. Why hasn’t the Administration made such an effort before ? How was this shrine built at the railway station ? Who is responsible for it ? An investigation should be carried out and action should be taken against those responsible. – Editor)

Another notice has also been sent to the Noori Masjid which is also built on railway land. The notice has been sent to the Imam of the mosque stating that the mosque had to be removed as it was built illegally on railway land. The mosque will be removed and relocated. (In principle if the mosque itself is illegal, then why move it to another place ? If the Administration is going to do that, then those who have illegal houses will also demand houses elsewhere. This will create a tradition of building illegal houses and getting legal houses. – Editor)
