1. The complaint stated that ‘the way Chopra has linked the name of the Congress party to the temple issue in his show, it is evident that he wants to create a rebellion among the common people against the Congress Government of Rajasthan. This is misleading news and a conspiracy against the Rajasthan Government. It should be treated as an offence of sedition against the elected Government.’
2. Delhi BJP leader Kapil Mishra opined in this case such a planned attack against a journalist is against every principle of democracy. Don’t question Aman Chopra. Answer Aman Chopra’s questions.
Editorial viewpoint
In the Congress-ruled States, independent journalism attracts punishment. What Congress did to the media during the Emergency, they doing it today as well. This again makes it crystal clear that Congress is against the Constitution and the Law. |
