Modern day Mughals attacking Ram Navami processions ! : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
Take strict action against religious fanatics who are the ones disturbing religious harmony wantonly without any fear of law !
Ram Navami was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm all over the country, but there were incidents of stone-pelting and serious attacks on the processions reported from many States. The attacks were carried out by religious fanatics in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Bengal, etc. On the one hand, communists, secularists, and the ‘progressive’ groups demand action against Hindu Saints and Dharmacharyas, accusing them of increasing tension and communalising the country, but the same people keep quiet when religious fanatics attack Hindus during Hindu festivals.

We are all too familiar with the Mughal iconoclasts. During invasions, they attacked, destroyed and desecrated millions of Hindu temples in India. They also partially destroyed thousands of temples and built mosques over them. Recently, the Supreme Court of India has decided on one such case pertaining to Shriram Janmabhoomi. In an eerie coincidence, as the foundation of Shriram Mandir is being built, religious fanatics attacked the processions taken out on the occasion of Ram Navami in different parts of the country. This is a serious matter and the Central Government should immediately take action over this. No one should test the patience of Hindus now. The people who attacked Ram Navami processions are the descendants of those iconoclast Mughals. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has demanded that the guilty be strictly punished.
It is quite infuriating that such incidents take place all over the country during Hindu festivals, but nothing much seems to be discussed in the mainstream media. A procession taken out by Hindus on the occasion of the Hindu New Year was brutally attacked by religious fanatics at Karauli in Rajasthan. Many Hindu shopkeepers in Karauli are planning to sell their shops and flee to save their lives. What happened with Hindus in 1990 in Kashmir, seems to be repeating in other parts of India. Instances of similar attacks during Navaratri and other Hindu festivals is becoming common place.
Not only is the birth anniversary of a demon like ‘Mahishasura’ celebrated at JNU, slogans too are raised to split India into pieces. The slogans of ‘Jai Shriram’ and ‘Ram Navami Puja’ are, however, not tolerated. Some violence was reported from JNU on 10th April. Overall, it appears to be a well thought out conspiracy. Therefore, HJS appeals to the Hon. Central Home Minister Amit Shah to conduct an in-depth inquiry into all such incidents.
PFI is suspected to be involved in these cases
The Popular Front of India cadres are consciously encouraged to intervene and react even in minor cases against members of the Muslim community. The cadre is also encouraged to act as guardian of Islamic values, thus effectively converting them into moral Police. The cadres are given training in martial arts and combat using sticks and knives/swords at some locations in their strongholds : NIA document |
• Murders of RSS and BJP workers in Kerala
• Chopping off Professor TJ Joseph’s hand for which 13 PFI workers were found guilty
• 6 people linked with PFI were arrested for plotting to kill BJYM President & Lok Sabha MP Tejasvi Surya
• Incitement of violence during anti-CAA protests
• 23 ‘Love Jihad’ cases being probed by NIA
• 47 PFI members linked to 2020 Delhi riots
The road so far …
The Intelligence Bureau had first created a dossier on the PFI in 2010, which called the group ‘a confederation of Islamic organisations which was collaborating with the banned Islamist terrorist Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI)’.
The NIA dossier said the PFI was the second avatar of the National Development Front (NDF) which was formed in 1993 after the Babri Masjid demolition and subsequent riots.
‘NDF subsequently merged with MNP (of Tamil Nadu), KFD (of Karnataka), etc. to form PFI’, the NIA dossier had said.
‘Organisations such as the Citizen’s Forum (of Goa), Community Social and Educational Society (of Rajasthan), Nagrik Adhikar Suraksha Samiti (of Bengal), Liong Social Forum (of Manipur) and Association of Social Justice (of Andhra Pradesh) were all part of PFI’s growing network’, the dossier said. Formation of PFI was first announced on 9.11.2006 in Bangalore.
In 2017, calls for a ban on PFI received fresh impetus after the National Investigation Agency (NIA) submitted to the Home Ministry a comprehensive dossier which listed the Islamic group’s alleged links with terror-related cases that the Agency had investigated.
The PFI also has a political group – Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) – which took part in Panchayat elections in Kerala.
The NIA had in its dossier listed the PFI and its political wing SDPI for involvement in the Bangalore blast case, Kerala professor palm-chopping case, the Kerala ‘Love Jihad’ case among others.
HJS had written this long back :On this #RepublicDay2020, we urge @PMOIndia led by Hon PM @narendramodi ji and @HMOIndia led by Hon @AmitShah ji to ban organisations like PFI, that are spreading violence across the country ! |
