Motilal Tejawat’s grandson Mahendra said that there was British rule when the genocide occurred; therefore, if the British PM Johnson feels what happened with the unarmed tribals was wrong, he should apologise for the same.
Editorial comment
The British should not only apologise for this but also for the inordinate persecution of Indians; for brutally killing revolutionaries, and for their attempts to destroy Hindu culture during their regime. The Indian Government should pressurise Britain for the same ! |
