Sri Lanka in dire need of Rs 22,000 crore to get out of financial crisis
Colombo (Sri Lanka) – Sri Lanka has gone bankrupt. The country has only Rs 5,000 crore in foreign exchange reserves. Sri Lanka needs about Rs 22,000 crore to get out of this situation.
Sri Lanka has descended into its worst financial crisis since independence, with food, fuel, medicine and electricity becoming increasingly scarce.

Finance Minister Ali Sabri said that Sri Lanka can get out of this crisis if they receive this financial assistance. India has provided assistance of Rs 4,000 crore.
