Keep meat shops closed during nine days of Chaitra Navratri

UP Govt’s order

Editorial comment

Hindu devotees are wondering why the other BJP-led States are not issuing similar orders if the BJP UP Government could do so !

Lucknow (UP) – The Government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued an order to keep all meat shops closed in the State during the Chaitra Navaratri to be observed between 2nd April and 10th April 2022.

Every Police Station in the State needs to ensure that no meat shop was opened in the area under its jurisdiction during these nine days, and if opened, the Head of the Police Station would be held responsible for the same. Various squads have been formed to see that the orders were followed meticulously. Action will also be taken against a meat shop if found open during this period.
