Canberra (Australia) – Hillsong founder Brian Houston (age 68 years) has been removed from the post of global senior pastor of the church after he was found guilty of sexual misconduct with two women. This step was taken after an internal investigation found that there was truth in the allegation. He is also accused of covering up allegations against his father’s child sexual abuse committed in the 70s.

The Hillsong Church was established by Brian with his wife Bobby. The church has branches in Europe, America, and Asia. In 2019, the Australian Prime Minister, Scot Morrison prayed in this church.
