Crime registered against the activists of the PFI for forcibly shutting shops : Hijab verdict
Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Bhatkal Police have registered a complaint against activists of the Popular Front of India (PFI) and an advocate for trying to forcibly shut shops to oppose the verdict given by the Karnataka High Court regarding the ban on hijab in educational institutions. Crime has been registered on Azim Ahmed, Mohiddin Abir, Sharik and Adv Timur Hussain Gawai.

The Government will not give in due to threats – Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, Higher education Minister
Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, Higher education Minister of Karnataka said that, those who say that the verdict should have been in their favour, the Government will not surrender to their threats. It is not appropriate for Muslim girls to say that they will not abide by the Court’s verdict.
