Delibrate push for Sharia law under the veil of Hijab
Editorial
The demand for Hijab is an excellent example of how religious fanatics use various incidents to eliminate other cultures !
Recently, a schoolgirl wearing a Burqa screamed ‘Allah-hu-Akbar’ in a campus premises with dozens of Hindu youth around her in Karnataka. The religious fanatics seem to have taken a strong liking to this and the religious fanatic organisation ‘Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind’ has announced an award of Rs 5 lakh for the girl. In doing so, organisations like Jamiat are encouraging Muslim children to adopt religious fanaticism from a tender age.
The point to ponder over is – How could the girl do this without any fear ? What would have happened if the situation were to be the exact opposite ? It is best to not even imagine the consequences of a lone Hindu girl in the middle of a mob of religious fanatics ! The religious fanatic girl in question has overnight become a darling of the religious fanatics. On the flip side, it is worth noting that nobody is sparing even a thought to the fact that the Hindu youngsters didn’t even go close to the girl or caused her any harm. This whole incident highlights the difference between Hindu culture and Islamic ideology. Hindu female Police constables were sexually assaulted during the riots carried out by Raza Academy at the Azad Maidan in Mumbai. The Hindu community will never forget this.
The claim that ‘Hijab is our birthright !’ is a mere excuse, and tomorrow, these very religious fanatics will demand that they be allowed to wear Burqa. Soon, this will be followed by demands for offering Namaz in the school, and then, demand for everything to be done as per the Sharia law. This is an excellent example of how a rise in the population of religious fanatics in any country leads to slow but steady unscrupulous attempts to impose the Islamic ideology on those following other faiths
Sari – a symbol of Hindu culture
While supporting the Hijab, the liberal gang is claiming that Hijab is acceptable the same way wearing a sari and applying kumkum is. Their sheer stupidity is being exposed through questions such as – How is the ghoonghat of Hindu women acceptable ? Furthermore, questions such as – How can the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wear saffron robes and hold the CM’s position and how can Sadhvi Pragya Singh wear saffron to the State Legislative Assembly – are being intentionally raked up. Such questions are being asked to distract the people from the main issue.
In fact, the first Education Minister of the country, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a Muslim, never felt that girls should wear Hijab to school. He never objected to teachers wearing a sari to school. The first female Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, used to wear a sari. India’s first female President, Pratibhatai Patil, used to wear a sari and apply kumkum to her forehead.
In the Indian Judiciary, many women – right from the lower Courts to the Supreme Court – wear a sari and even apply kumkum to their forehead.
Moreover, Brinda Karat of the Communist Party (Marxist) also wears a sari and applies a large dot of kumkum to her forehead. Most women in India do not identify themselves as devout Hindus, yet they have accepted these customs.
This is merely a reflection of the fact that they have accepted this land’s culture which has been prevalent for several thousand years. Therefore, if attempts are being made to drag the sari or kumkum in the Hijab debate, it is senseless and cannot be fathomed.
Why the demand for Hijab only now ?
While speaking at a hearing on the Hijab debate on 9th February, Karnataka High Court Judge, Krishna Dixit said, “When I was in school, the colour of the school was one. All the students used to wear the same uniform”. This further clarifies the fact that nobody objected to female teachers or students wearing kumkum or sari till now because it is a mark of the Hindu culture.
The Hijab is the culture of the invaders. Till now, the Muslims in India hadn’t made strong demands for it. They are pushing for it now because they want to overthrow the Hindu culture and inject Islamic culture in this land.
Hindu culture in dire need of protection in Hindu India !
When exploring the country, an average Indian wishes to feel like he is in India. If one visits a school in India and gets the feeling of being in a school that is in Pakistan or Afghanistan, then what about the importance of the original Indian culture ?
Today, all developed countries are frantically working towards conserving their indigenous culture. As mentioned in Jnaneshwari, the Hindu culture is one that thinks about the well-being of the whole world. Against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic, the whole world has now accepted the importance of elements in the Hindu culture such as Namaskar, Cremation, Vegetarianism, Ayurveda and Ganga Jal, among others.
Therefore, the conservation of the Hindu culture that works for the transcendental advancement of an individual is important.
If some social elements are daydreaming about implementing the Sharia law by pushing for Hijab in this land, it is important that those in power show them their place. The demand for Hijab is an excellent example of how religious fanatics use various incidents to eliminate other cultures when their population increases.
This only highlights the dire need for the Uniform Civil Code !
