Abujmarh (Chhattisgarh) : Villagers expel the youth for accepting Christianity

The Centre should pass the anti-conversion Bill immediately to stop Hindus’ conversion.

Abujmarh (Chhattisgarh) – Conversion is rampant here. Villagers’ children are being allured to get converted by Christian missionaries. Furious about such conversions, the villagers have expelled those young people from their village. Hence, the youth have registered a complaint against the villagers stating that relatives and villagers had looted and beaten them up. The Police have issued a notice to 15 such individuals. Later, people representing 3 Gram Panchayats went to the Police station and reprimanded the young converts.

Hindus, not being educated on Dharma, do not know correct spiritual practice. As a result, they do not have faith in God. Such people are allured by Christians and converted. Having realised this, devout Hindu organisations should put in efforts to impart education on Dharma to Hindus.

Converted Mukesh Yadav, Hemnath, Sanno and Sonadevi Gota told that they were falling sick; although they were ritually worshipping God, they were not getting cured; hence, they had started offering Christian prayers and they had recovered. Therefore, they had chosen to be converted to Christianity. They liked it and were not ready to leave it.
