Russia may invade Ukraine today !
Russia-Ukraine Border Conflict
Western Nations predict
Moscow (Russia) – 1 lakh Russian soldiers have been deployed on the Russia-Ukraine border. This has created an atmosphere of fear in Ukraine whereas Russia says some of its troops are returning to their bases from the Ukrainian border. Nevertheless, Western nations have launched anti-Russian protests at various levels. While speaking to BBC news, Liz Truss, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom said there is a strong possibility of Russia attacking Ukraine. Truss backs the US officials’ claim that Russia may invade Ukraine on 16th February. Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, on the other hand, quoted President Vladimir Putin as saying – attempts for dialogue are still going on.

Truss made it clear that even if Ukraine became part of NATO, its sovereignty would not be adversely affected. There has been strong opposition to Ukraine’s forthcoming possible decision. If Ukraine becomes a member of NATO, Western superpowers will have no problem providing military assistance to Ukraine.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was going to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and give stern and direct warning, if Russia invades Ukraine, severe restrictions would be imposed on it. It has been said that the ‘Nord Stream 2’ gas pipeline, which is beneficial to both countries, will not be allowed to close.
Earlier, Scholz met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He assured Ukraine that in case Russia invades, Russia would have to pay a heavy price.
