Two religious fanatics held near the college with ‘lethal weapons’
The issue of the demand for wearing hijab in Udupi colleges
Editorial comment
The Government should find out whether it is being conspired to start tension and violence in the State under the pretext of the hijab issue. |
Udupi (Karnataka) – Since some days Muslim girl students are demanding wearing the hijab when coming to the college. Hindu students have tried to express their opposition to this demand by wearing the saffron colour shawl. Therefore, the Government has banned both, hijab and shawl when coming to the college. The Police have arrested two religious fanatics, Rajjab and Haji Abdul Majid, with lethal weapons near one of those colleges. The remaining three culprits have absconded and the Police are looking for them.
On February 5, the pre-University education board released a circular stating that only the #uniform that the school administration decided can be worn and no other religious practices will be allowed in colleges.#Karnatakahttps://t.co/HmBCPB8FQ9

Editorial comment
How can these religious fanatics dare to boycott Hindus in the Hindu Nation ? Hindus do not expect this in BJP-ruled State. |

Two months ago, demonstrations were held on behalf of Hindu Jagaran Manch at Gangoli against cow-theft and cow-slaughter. Hundreds of fishermen, fish vendors and women had participated in it. Thereafter, the Muslims here commenced boycotting the Hindus. They boycotted buying fish from Hindus in the Gangoli market.
