150 staff members of Supreme Court affected by Covid-19
New Delhi – Four judges of the Supreme court have tested positive for Covid-19. According to the media reports, the virus spread at the farewell party of a retiring judge. Many staff members are infected. Among more than 3,000 staff members working at SC, 150 are infected.

All hearings through video conference started from 3rd January
In the wake of the rising number of Covid-19 in Delhi, Supreme Court Chief Justice N V Ramana had directed to conduct all hearings through video conference. This was in effect from 3rd January for the next 2 weeks. During this time, the judges were asked to conduct hearings via video conference from their residences.
