If Veer Savarkar’s thoughts had been put into practice, Partition would have been avoided : Mr Uday Mahurkar
The Inquisition in Goa does not find mention in history books. Many streets in Delhi are still named after the brutal Mughal rulers. The name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is mentioned only once in a 7th standard textbook of NCERT. Today, if a maulvi is appointed in a Government-aided minority run school, his salary is paid by the Government; however, despite being a Hindu majority country, the Government does not allow the appointment of a priest in a Government-aided school. Swatantryaveer Savarkar was a visionary and an proponent of national interests. If we had acted according to his thoughts, Partition would have been avoided and India would have become a Vishwaguru. Failure to follow the views of Swatantryaveer Savarkar resulted in great loss to the country. To study his life anew, everyone should read this book and put his thoughts into practice.
It is now the responsibility of Hindus to fulfil Swatantryaveer Savarkar’s dream of establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ : Mr Chetan Rajhans
Veer Savarkar was a visionary leader. Even after 70 years, his thoughts are an ideological asset for the country. He had said, “If Indians want to live with self-respect, India should become a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. This is not possible today, but later it will be established. I leave this responsibility to the coming generations”. Hence, the responsibility of establishing the Hindu Rashtra rests on our shoulders. Hindus will gain new ideas and enthusiasm by reading this book and will be able to participate in establishing ‘Hindu Rashtra’.
Hindus should not forget Swatantryaveer Savarkar’s words that he is a ‘Hindu unifier’ : Mr Ramesh Shinde
Swatantryaveer Savarkar had once said, ‘It is acceptable even if you forget my Marseilles leap, but don’t forget that I am a ‘Hindu unifier’. By accepting this idea, we have to carry forth his mission to establish the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. It is often claimed that the ‘charkha’ brought Independence to the country, then why did Goa, Daman and Diu get Independence in 1961 ? Let us all participate in Veer Savarkar’s mission to create an ‘Akhand Bharat’. Although Veer Savarkar is not alive today, we have the wealth of his thoughts. Based on these thoughts, we can prevent further division of the country.
The book on Veer Savarkar’s life will inspire society : Dharmabhushan H.H. Brahmeshanand Swami Maharaj
“This book will inspire many to work for the Nation & Dharma. Today, lessons which impart patriotic values have disappeared from textbooks. It is frightening that the Nation & Dharma are not given priority in society. We should keep the flame of patriotism burning”, asserted Dharmabhushan Brahmeshanand Swami Maharaj of Shrikshetra Tapobhumi, Goa. He sent His blessing for the programme through a letter which was read out.
