- BJP’s State Secretary stated that some BJP leaders had asked CM Jagmohan Reddy about encroachment in Atmakur town. The BJP members were attacked by religious fanatics when they approached the Government in front of the Police. This is a shameful and unfortunate situation. BJP will keep protesting against this.
- The Commissioner of AP Police said that some parties were trying to provoke violence under the name of religion. The Superintendent has been ordered to take severe action against those responsible.
