Police officer suspended in Kerala for leaking sensitive information about RSS activist

Idukki (Kerala) – PK Anas, a Police officer, has been suspended for allegedly providing information about Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activists to a Social Democratic Party (SDPI) worker. SDPI is the political wing of the extremist organisation Popular Front of India.

According to the Police, the SDPI activist who was arrested in another case revealed that PK Anas had leaked sensitive information from the Police database to the activist. He has since been suspended. The Thodupuzha Deputy SP conducted an investigation and found Anas guilty, hence, Anas was suspended by the District Police.
