Mutts and temples should set an annual target to bring back those who have converted from Hindu Dharma

Editorial comment

  • In the last one thousand years, Muslim invaders, as well as Portuguese Christians, have forcibly converted Hindus. If their descendants want to come back to Hindu Dharma now, then the Central Government should make a law for them and provide them with assistance and security to convert to Hindu Dharma. As a result of this, 1,000 years of slavery will be shed off and India will become truly independent !

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Karnataka BJP MP Tejasvi Surya said Muslims or Christians, who underwent a religious conversion, should be brought back into Hindu Dharma. He said, ‘Temples and Mutts should set annual targets to bring back those who have renounced Sanatan Dharma and joined other religions for various reasons. There is no alternative for this since it is a fact that nobody voluntarily comes forward to re-enter the religion’. He made this statement on 25th December at Shri Krushna Mutt in Udupi.

Tejasvi Surya tweeted this video and wrote,

1. Islam and Christianity are not just religions; they are political imperialist ideologies.

2. Both religions believe that they are supreme. There is a fundamental difference between these religions and Hindu Dharma. These religions were spread by the fear of the sword. Hindus were thus expelled from their parental religion.

3. There is now only one way out of this discrepancy, and that is for those who have abandoned their parental religion; that is, those who have renounced Hindu Dharma for various social, political, and economic reasons, should be brought back to their parental religion, Hindu Dharma.

4. After being ruled by foreign invaders for centuries, India is now re-emerging as a world leader.

Tejasvi Surya unconditionally withdraws his statement regarding conversion !

“At a programme held in Udupi Sri Krishna Mutt two days ago, I spoke on the subject of ‘Hindu Revival in Bharat’. Certain statements from my speech have regrettably created an avoidable controversy. I therefore, unconditionally withdraw the statements”, Surya tweeted.
