76 Supreme Court Advocates write to the Chief Justice of India over alleged offensive statements made in the Dharmasansad at Haridwar

• Why don’t these advocates ever have the intellect to write about the atrocities taking place against Hindus and the attacks on them ? Or do they think that the law and order is meant only for other religions ? 

New Delhi – 76 advocates practising in the Supreme Court have written to the Chief Justice of India, NV Ramana, alleging that some people had made offensive statements in the Dharmasansad held at Haridwar.

‘Attempts are being made to curb the religious freedom of the country under the pretext of Dharmasansad. Such statements in the Dharmasansad are creating fear in the minds of minorities of the country’, the letter stated. The advocates have requested the Chief Justice to take cognizance of the matter.

Prominent among the advocates are Dushyant Dave, Prashant Bhushan, Vrunda Grover, Salman Khurshid, former Patna High Court Judge Anjana Prakash.

The letter further states that during the Dharmasansad of Saints at Haridwar from 17th to 19th December 2021, speeches were continuously made against the constitutional values of the country and ethnic harmony. There was also talk of taking up arms against minorities. (Are these advocates, who are so vigilant about the alleged taking up of arms against the minorities, high on the opium of secularism when arms are actually being used against the majority Hindus in the country ? – Editor)
