London (England) – A few days ago, a man was beaten to death by a mob while trying to desecrate Guru Granth Sahib (Holy book of Sikhs) at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. On this, Britain’s first female Sikh MP Preet Kaur Gill tweeted saying, ‘Hindu terrorist prevented from an act of violence at the Sikh Holy shrine of Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden temple) against Sikhs.’ After this, there was an outrage on social media. Indian embassy also condemned her tweet, after which Preeti Kaur Gill deleted the tweet.
