A mosque in Bengal stops the use of loudspeakers during Azan to avoid children being disturbed while studying

Editorial Comment

This decision should be imposed in the whole country for all the students, lakhs of patients and senior citizens.

Jalpaiguri (Bengal) – It has been decided not to use the loudspeakers at a mosque for Azan so that students do not get disturbed while studying, and the mosque has also provided space for children’s education.

Nazimul Haq, the Imam of the mosque said they will not use loudspeakers in the mosque for Azan. (If Azan can be given without loudspeakers here, then it can be done all over India; then why no effort is made for this ? – Editor) So there will be no noise pollution and the children will also be able to learn peacefully in school.

(It is well known that loudspeakers on mosques cause noise pollution, yet the question arises as to why for so many years loudspeakers are being used on all the mosques across India ? – Editor)

“We welcome the decision not to use loudspeakers for Azan and namaz in the mosque,” said Indranil Saha, a teacher at the school. The administration of the mosque cooperated well with us. (It is a fact that if the administration of the mosque had not cooperated and kept the loudspeakers, the school administration out of fear and intimidation would not have tried to stop it – Editor)
