Editorial comment
Realise that, under the pretext of freedom of speech many support those who denigrate Hindu Deities; but in this case, no one among them is opposing such petitions.
Prayagraj (UP) – Mohammad Yusuf Umar Ansari, the Secretary of Hazrat Khwaja Garib Nawaz Association, has filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court demanding restraint on the ex-Shia Waqf Board Chairman Waseem Rizvi from making comments on Mohammad Paigambar and Quran. The petitioner is also seeking restraint on religious statements made by Tyagi on social media. Earlier Ansari has written a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs with regard to Tyagi’s making contentious remarks against Mohammad Paigambar and Quran.

Ansari said that Rizvi’s book named, ‘Mohammad’ mentioned several disputed items that can compromise peace and security in the country. He added that there were such ‘problematic’ references in the book, like ‘Islami Atankwad‘ and ‘Hunain ka Balatkar Kand’, etc. He is a criminal by nature. 27 cases have been registered against him in various Police Stations. Hence, action must be taken against him.
Ansari alleged that Islam and the Quran had no defects and then explained why no question was raised about it in the past 1,400 years. Waseem Rizvi has no faith in any religion. He lacks in the human element.
