“Why don’t you kill Hindus ?” : Son asks his Pakistani journalist father

Pakistani schools indoctrinate Hindu hatred

Editorial comment

It is a fact that no Indian political leaders have attempted to stop the Hindu hatred being taught in Pakistan’s schools for decades. If someone from Pakistan brings it up, it is remarkable. However, there is a remote chance of any change in this situation.

Islamabad (Pakistan) – On the backdrop of the brutal lynching of a Sri Lankan citizen on charges of blasphemy, a programme was arranged on a Pakistani TV channel. During the programme, it was questioned about the education in Government as well as private schools in Pakistan.

A journalist who participated in the programme said my son asked me, “Do Hindus live in Pakistan?,” when I told him yes, I also have some Hindu friends, he asked a shocking question, “If you have Hindus on Sindh, then why don’t you guys kill them ?” Upon hearing this, I went to meet the school principal.’

The journalist added that the grooming of children in these schools is full of hatred. What else they will learn in such schools ? The parents should keep an eye on what they are being taught. This indoctrination in the educational system has been going on for 40-50 years. No one talks about it openly.
