As the number of corona patients declines, platform ticket fare reinstated to original fare of Rs. 10
New Delhi – As the number of corona patients decreases in the country, the Indian Railways has decided to reduce the platform tickets from Rs. 50 to Rs. 10, the original fare.

During the corona pandemic, the railway department had increased the platform ticket prices. This ticket was increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 50 which has now been reduced from Rs. 50 back to Rs. 10. Central railway informed this change on Twitter. To discourage people from going to the platform during the corona pandemic, the platform ticket prices had been increased.
