Locals beat up CBI team gone to raid a place

It shows the level of awe in people for the Police ! The Government should take action against such citizens. 

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids at 77 places in 14 States in connection with the issue of child pornography cases. An incident was, however, reported where a mob attacked the CBI squad at Dhenkanal in Odisha.

The house of a suspect named Surendra Nayak was raided at Dhenkanal and his interrogation was going on when an enraged mob attacked the officers from the CBI team. They were carrying sticks. They surrounded CBI officers and brought them out of Nayak’s house and then beat them up. The local Police then intervened and rescued the officers.
