Jabalpur (MP) – To celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad the festival of ‘Milad-un-Nabi’, was organised in the sensitive fish market area. During the commemoration, the Police were urging the attendees to follow the designated route but suddenly stone pelting started and firecrackers were also hurled at the Police.

Therefore, the Police lathi-charged the religious fanatics present there and used tear gas to disperse them, informed Siddharth Bahuguna, Superintendent of Police of Jabalpur District.
According to the given information, the attackers have been identified and strict action would be taken against them.
