New Delhi – The South Africa Hindu Mahasabha has condemned the attack on Hindu citizens, Durga Puja Pandals and Idols of Shri Durgadevi in Bangladesh over the past few days. The Mahasabha has demanded that the Bangladesh Government do justice to the victims by taking immediate action against the accused, as well as try to ensure the safety of the victims and give them the freedom to worship.

The followers of ISKCON protested by singing Bhajans outside the Bangladesh High Commission in Kolkata as a protest against the attack on the temple ISKCON of Bangladesh (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). They also demanded strict action against the accused and security to the Hindus there.
