Ram Sharan Singh, President of Management Committee for Asamai Mandir, told that they held a “jagrata” at the mandir and also held a “kirtan” and “Bhandara”, where food was served to people. Around 150 people had participated in the celebrations. The congregation also appealed to the Government of India for their early evacuation from Afghanistan. Presently, Afghanistan’s economy has hit rock bottom and people are facing severe hardships.
