Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Religious fanatics prevented Hindus from worshipping at the Shri Durgadevi temple on Tipu Sultan Marg. The Bangladesh Hindu Unity Council has revealed this information in their tweet. The Government here has provided a temporary place for the worship of Shri Durgadevi. The Idol of the Goddess in the temple has been moved to this place. The temple was attacked a few days ago. Due to this, local Hindus had also staged protests against religious fanatics. This temple of Shri Durgadevi was built in the year 1921. “One day, we will succeed in saving our temple,” said the Bangladesh Hindu Unity Council.
Now Durga Puja is being held in a temporary place. Durga Puja did not stop. We hope one day this puja will be held at our historic Sankhnidhi temple. https://t.co/dmW3fZLk9X pic.twitter.com/CuFoFkKHkG
