At the Kannur University of Kerala, Excerpts from the books of Pujya Golwalkar Guruji and Swatantryaveer Savarkar will not be taught !

The result of pressure from the CPI (M) government !

Editorial comment

  • CPI (M) Government’s anti-Hindu sentiments !  Can those who reject the ideas of the patriots just out of hatred ever become all-encompassing ?

Kannur (Kerala) – The books of Pujya Golwalkar Guruji and Hindu Mahasabha leader Swatantryaveer Savarkar will not be taught, said Gopinath Rabindran, Chancellor of Kannur University. In the syllabus of the third semester, some parts of Golwalkar Guruji’s ‘Bunch of Thoughts’ and Swatantryaveer Savarkar’s ‘Hindutva : Who is a Hindu ?’ were included.

Chancellor Rabindran said that the students will be taught the changed syllabus. A two-member special committee set up by the State Government had suggested changing the syllabus at the university. Now this change will be sent to the syllabus description committee.

Some student unions had opposed the new curriculum. It was alleged to be an attempt at saffronisation. (Needless to say, these student organisations belong to the communists ! – Editor). After this, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also expressed his views on the issue, saying, “Leaders who tried to stay away from the freedom struggle of the country, and their thoughts will not prevail.” (Swatantryaveer Savarkar dedicated his entire life to national work, while Pu. Golwalkar Guruji also worked for national upliftment. In such a situation, those who make such statements should answer, “What did the communists contribute to the freedom movement ?” – Editor). That is why the syllabus has changed.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has opposed the communist Government’s decision. “Intellectual freedom should not be sacrificed for the politics of one political party,” he said. In my book, I have mentioned information about Swatantryaveer Savarkar and Pujya Golwalkar Guruji and also criticised it.” A few days ago, Tharoor had posted on Facebook that if he did not know the views of Savarkar and Golwalkar, how would he refute them ? (Ideological clarity needs to be created among devout Hindus to counter Hindu haters like Tharoor. Only with the bright ideas of Hindu Dharma, ideological terrorism spread by Tharoor and his secular group can be overcome. – Editor)
