Any protest against Indian PM Narendra Modi will not be tolerated : Nepal Government warns civilians
Kathmandu (Nepal) – Nepal Government has warned those who burnt Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s effigy and opposed him in a protest. ‘Since Nepal wants to maintain friendly relations with India, Government will not tolerate such actions’ said Nepal’s Communist Government.

A few days ago, Jaya Singh Dhami was trying to cross the river from Nepal’s border and enter India. He was trying to cross the river with the help of a rope. Due to the cutting of the rope, he fell in the river, drowned, and died. Nepal’s civilians alleged the Indian armed forces cut the rope, thus, the civilians burnt Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s effigy. Armed forces dismissed such allegations and said that their personnel did not cut the rope.

Nepal’s Home Minister said that Nepal’s tradition is to discuss and resolve issues instead of arguing with the neighbouring country. Even in the future, disputes could be resolved through discussions.
