New Delhi – The intelligence agencies have received information that Islamic State Khorasan (Khurasan means North East region of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan) terrorists may attack temples, political leaders, and crowded places; so also foreigners in India.
Aslam Farrukhi is the Chief of Islamic State Khorasan. He is a resident of the Kyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan and is also associated with ‘Lashkar-e-Taiba’. Farrukhi was in Bagram jail in Afghanistan till now. He was released after the Taliban took control of Kabul. Immediately on release from jail, he orchestrated a self-destructive bomb blast at Kabul airport.
