New Delhi – A bomb blast near the Pakistani city of Gwadar in Pakistan’s Balochistan province has killed 8 Chinese engineers. The Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack. This is the second such attack on Chinese engineers. In an earlier attack, 9 Chinese engineers were killed at Dasu in Pakistan’s Kohistan District.

After the attack, China had sent an investigation team to Pakistan. Even now, China is outraged by the attack and has called for a proper investigation of the attack and legal action against the culprits. China has warned that such incidents should not repeat in the future. The Chinese embassy in Islamabad said to step up security measures to protect Chinese citizens.
