SC/ST who convert to other religions will be disqualified from availing the benefits of Govt Schemes : Centre

New Delhi – Anyone from scheduled caste and tribe who converts will not be able to access the benefits of Central Government schemes that are made available for them, stated Central Government in the Parliament while answering a question.

Central Government stated that the goal of Government Schemes is welfare and progress of Scheduled Caste and Tribe. This benefit cannot be provided after the religious conversion.

Andhra Pradesh will continue to provide the benefits of Government schemes for Scheduled Caste and Tribe even after a religious conversion

Such orders are passed and implemented only because Andhra Pradesh has Christian Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is disgraceful for secular India.

Hyderabad (Telangana) – Individuals from Scheduled Castes and Tribes will continue to receive the benefits given to them even after converting to Christian and Buddhist religions, according to the orders passed on 30th July by Andhra Pradesh GovernmentAndhra Pradesh’s this order will be not applicable for the Central Government Schemes.

80% of people in Andra Pradesh who converted to Christian religion belong to Scheduled Castes and Tribes. (It is evident that they were lured into conversion. To prevent such incidents, it is necessary that Central Government immediately make a policy against religious conversion – Editor)
